On February 26^th, 2014, Mr.Paolo Quattrocchi from the Italian Foreign Trade Commission visited ShengdiShiling Leather & Leather Products City and discussed with the Chairman ofShengdi Group Mr. Jim Lam the development of the phase 6  “European City” project. 

Shengdi Shiling International Leather &Leather Products City is the biggest wholesale leather market in China. ItsPhase 6 – “European City”, will be a convenient platform for internationalleather industry to enter Chinese market. It is planned to be a complexcombination of production center, business area, five-star hotels, officebuildings, shopping, dining and leisure.

Phase 6 “European City” will assist Chineseenterprises in “going global” by introducing their products to other parts ofthe world. It will also help international companies to get acquainted withlocal market and Chinese business culture, facilitate bringing internationalhigh-quality products into China. “European City” will integrate trade,R&D, specialists’ exchanges, exhibition, e-commerce and global logisticsinto one innovative platform.

Mr. Quattrocchi was deeply impressed by thecomplexity of services offered by Shengdi Shiling. He expressed his deep interestin the development of the phase 6 project and his hope that in the future itwill serve as a channel to bring Italian and Chinese leather industry closertogether.
