During opening day of Linea Pelle leather show held in Millan on September 10, 2014, Shengdi Group president Lin Jun paid a visit to the trade fair and had a talk with Salvatore Mercogliano, CEO of Linea Pelle organizer, Giovanna Bonet, international affair and Stefano Peretti from Cristina, the issues on Chinese tariff of imported goods and exploring Chinese leather market were focused on to discuss during their talk.

Salvatore Mercogliano made a brief of Italian leather industry, and said their industry encounters the political problems in Ukraine and tariff issues in China, which are thought to be big markets to export leather products, and he hopes their talk could find solution to the issues of export tariff to China, and achieves win-win situation for both leather industries.

Both sides agreed to establish cooperation on business and information exchanges, Lin said we can share market information each other by our cooperation, adding that China leather website is source to release business chance in China, and also a platform to help Italian companies to promote their brands in China.

A preliminary agreement was reached by both side on launching series of activities to promote October Linea Pelle leather show in Guangzhou city, the linear pelle Guangzhou show started in 2003 that has achieved great success since its opening.

Shengdi Group was invited to show on Linea Pelle to promote the European Leather Town established in Poland by Shengdi, which drew huge attention to the visitors from different countries, for instance Cezar Luiz Muller, the vice president of CICB had expressed their willingness to set up booth there.
