On May 2015, thePresident of PTAK S.A, the biggest specialized market in Poland Mr. Dawid Ptaktogether with the Member of the Board Mr. Tomasz Szypula and the ProjectDevelopment Manager Ms. Maria Szypula visited Guangdong Province in order todeepen their understanding of the local market and business environment. Theywere warmly received by the Chairman of Shengdi Group and Chairman ofPoland-China (Guangdong) Chamber of Commerce Mr. Jim Lam, General Manager ofShengdi Shiling International Leather & Leather Products City Mr. Zhang Junand the Vice Chairman of Poland-China (Guangdong) Chamber of Commerce andDirector of Shengdi Shiling International Affairs Department Ms. Peggy Lin.

The delegationof PTAK S.A. accompanied by the representatives of Shengdi Group andPoland-China (Guangdong) Chamber of Commerce visited Shengdi ShilingInternational Leather & Leather Products City, Shengdi New World DecorationMaterials Wholesale Market, Guangdong Louvre Palace of Home Furnishings and alsotook a tour around the Canton International Fairs held in Guangzhou at thattime.

Afterwards, thedelegation of PTAK S.A. and Shengdi Group met with CCPIT Guangdong (ChinaCouncil for the Promotion of International Trade) to discuss future projectsand cooperation. They also paid a visit to the Consulate General of Poland inGuangzhou, where they met with the Consul General Ms. Joanna Skoczek,introduced the ongoing projects between the companies and reported theactivities of the Chamber. Consul General Ms. Skoczek was very impressed by theprogress of cooperation between PTAK and Shengdi, and the Chamber’s efforts to intensifycommercial exchanges between Poland and Guangdong Province. She expressed herstrong belief that after successful implementation of all the projectsmentioned in the presentation the trade and economic ties between Poland andChina would grow stronger and closer.
