The 13th Shiling Leather Festival took place in Guangzhou Huadu in December this year. Attending guests included representatives of the local and foreign leather industry, Italian trade associations, ARS ARPEL group and the delegates from Ars Sutoria, Italy.

During the event, Lineapelle- organizers of the biggest international leather exhibition in Europe advertizedtheir events in the coming year, inviting Chinese partners to come and personallyexperience the high-end Italian leather. At the opening ceremony of ShilingLeather Festival, the President of Guangzhou office of the Italian EconomicCooperation Council (ICE) Mr. Paolo Quattrocchi addressed the guests and expressedhis admiration for the Shengdi Shiling International Leather & LeatherProducts City contribution to the leather industry, calling it “Leather Capitalof China”. He also mentioned that according to his knowledge of Chinese market,there is a big potential for industry expansion by introducing Chinesecustomers to high quality Italian leather products. He also invited Chinesetanners to take part in Milan World Expo and take this opportunity to get toknow the Italian leather industry by visiting the tanneries in Tuscany andVenetia.
